This game works with: SheepShaver,

A fantastic cartoon adventure, rich in visual puzzles. Five aliens crashland on Earth, and hide out in an abandoned house while they repair their spaceship. In the meantime, Dr Sakarin, an evil alien-collecting scientist has found out about them, and sends out his evil henchman Bolok to capture them. You play as each of the five aliens, and must help them escape.

Most Mac game sites have never heard of it (for Mac anyway), some say the Mac version was canned before release. The rest only have preview details.

These are technically hybrid Mac/PC disc images, but the PC partition contains no Win executable. So these disc images are for Macintosh only.

The installer gives the option of installing English, French, German or Italian versions.

From the great JustAdventure site (preview of PC version):

In the pure adventure category, there's Stupid Invaders, the riotously funny 3D cartoon game from Xilam. This looked to me like the game U.F.O.s could have been but wasn't. The comic misadventures of a group of intellectually challenged aliens, this stunningly animated game just oozed fun from every corner of the screen. It was so irresistible things almost got ugly in front of the demo monitor, as we began body-blocking each other to jockey for a better viewing position.

Full of movie references, cartoon slapstick, toilet humor (literally!), and wall-to-wall incredible design, this is a game I'm counting the days for.

From Inside Mac Games (another preview):

Gaming industry pundits always seem eager to declare the adventure game genre dying or already dead, but ironically it seems that this tradition area of gaming is producing more titles than ever. While the name of Stupid Invaders by UbiSoft may make the game seem a tough sell, the charming graphics and somewhat ripe humor of this upcoming title won the heart of EuroGamer.

In the tradition of the LucasArts adventures such as Sam & Max, Stupid Invaders is an animated 2D adventure with a large cast of characters and over 2,000 lines of spoken dialog. The previewer seemed pretty taken with the title, and compared it (among other references) to American cartoon show Ren and Stimpy in humor and colorful look. Here is an excerpt:

But lets back track a little. What the heck is Stupid Invaders? Obviously it’s a point-and-click adventure game, but this is no ordinary adventure title. It involves the plight of four aliens whose spaceship has crash-landed on Earth. Sadly for them their options for escape are narrowed significantly when three of them are kidnapped, leaving just our hero, an orange alien who looks rather like a disproportionate jellybean.

Also rather unfortunately for them (and as the game’s name infers), they’re a teensy bit dim. Apparently the application process for space travel isn’t quite as rigorous elsewhere in the universe as it is here. Ho-hum. Because our friend is somewhat daunted by his surroundings (and of course the wrong side of smart) your guidance is very useful, and by making use of the objects and creatures around you, you must rescue your crew and flee the planet back to safety, avoiding the many bounty hunters on your trail as you do.

Video games are one of the main sources of fun for today’s people, regardless of age. First, we had arcade games which were played on a special machine built just for that purpose. However, as the technology progressed, we had many platforms to play games on, like PC, consoles, mobile phones, etc. If you want to play a game, all you have to do is download the game and play, but what about the games you don’t need to download? Well, these games require just a web-browser and a PC and are usually played via Adobe Flash Player, thus being called Flash games. They can be either downloaded or played via the internet, and now we are going to take a look at the 10 best Flash games of all time.

1. DOOM

We’ll kick this list off with the might DOOM, and if you are an old-school gamer, we expect not to ask why. DOOM is one of the best games ever, even if you don’t like first-person shooters, DOOM will surely be appealing to you. I mean, what’s wrong with killing demons with shotguns and chainsaws?! Fortunately, this game can now be found online, and all it requires is an Adobe Flash Player and a PC. If you are interested in this game, you can play it on Kongregate.

2. Super Mario 63

Remember those days when we all used to play Super Mario on SEGA or Nintendo… those were the good days. Now, this game is revived in many forms, but we chose Super Mario 63 for our list. Super Mario 63 is a fan-made game, played from your web-browser, and it resembles completely identical gameplay of the old-school Super Mario, but with slightly better graphics. The game concept is the same; you go through the numbers of levels, and your mission is to defeat Bowser and save the princess.

3. World’s Biggest Pacman

Even if you are not a gamer, you surely know about Pacman. This game boasts a very simple gameplay mechanics, where you control Pacman through the maze of various dots, which are called Pac-Dots in the game. The main goal here is to collect all those dots in order to proceed to the next level, but wait a minute, this game isn’t that simple. There are four ghosts: Clyde, Inky, Blinky and Pinky and they are trying to catch Pacman in order to prevent him from collecting all the Pac-Dots. A great game for killing time and developing reflexes.

4. Bejeweled

Bejeweled is a puzzle game developed for almost all gaming platforms including Windows, iOS, Android, Mac OS X, etc. The main goal of this game is to swap one gem with the gem containing the same color and form a chain of minimum three gems, resulting in the disappearance of these gems. The whole gameplay concept is simple, but once you get to higher levels, this game can pack quite a punch.

5. Bow Man

In Bow Man, the player is put in a role of a stick figure with a bow and an arrow, attempting to hit various targets. This, however, isn’t that simple as the player needs to take into play some factors like an angle of shooting and wind direction. This game can be played versus human player or versus computer, and aside of that, there is a practice mode, where the players can master their shooting and aim. If you are a patient player, this game is great for you, as it requires of player to think about next move, especially if played in player vs. player mode.

6. YetiSports

Mac Os Mojave

As this game is called YetiSports, there are multiple “sports” in this game, but we’ll call them modes. The original concept of the game was to play as Yeti and hit a penguin with a club in order for it to fly as far as possible. Later, because of the huge popularity of the game, users created these custom modes for the game, and they are usually not that different from the base of the game. YetiSports can be downloaded or played directly from the web-browser, so feel free to try it.

7. Desktop Tower Defence

Tower defense games are usually less popular games at the moment, but if done right, they can provide the player with lots of fun, which is the case in this game. Desktop Tower Defence takes its place on an office desktop, where the player is supposed to stop a set of enemies using various weapons and building towers. It resembles the classic tower defense gameplay mechanics and is one of the best games in the genre.

8. Zuma

Zuma is another puzzle game, great for killing time. In this game, you are put in a middle of the screen, with the objective to eliminate all of the balls on the screen. It’s the same principle as Bejeweled, but slightly modified as the player is required to shoot the balls into the row of moving balls. Colors need to be matched, with three or more balls in a row, to successfully eliminate that amount of balls. Unlike Bejeweled, this game can be finished.

9. Space Invaders

Approaching near the end of our list, we decided to mention some of the old school games, and one of them is Space Invaders. This game was initially developed in 1978, for arcade, but you can now find it online and play it using Adobe Flash Player. The goal of the game is to defeat five rows of aliens by controlling the laser cannon. The aliens are slowly descending to the bottom of the screen, and if they succeed, the game is over. If you are ready for a little nostalgia, jump in this game.

10. Snake

For the end, we left Snake, a well-known game that gained its popularity on Nokia mobile phones. Well, there isn’t much to say about this game. You are in control of a snake, which needs to be fed in order to grow, but if the snake bites itself, it’s game over. Today, you can find many variations of this game on almost any online gaming website.
